   Every year on 2 October, the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is observed with prayer services and tributes across the nation. This year, India will be celebrating the 154th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

         India is celebrating the 119th Birth Anniversary of a great leader and a great soul Lal Bahadur Shastri. He was the 2nd Prime Minister of India and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress Party.
